Is there anything more satisfying than a warm cup of hot chocolate in an evening? Especially when it’s topped with whipped cream, marshmallows, chocolate chunks and chocolate sauce!
Silky and creamy in texture with a sweet chocolate taste makes the perfect cup of cocoa.
These from from hot chocolates are the ultimate sweet treat before bed or as a pick-me-up in the afternoon on a cold winter day!
Ingredients
Hot Chocolate Mix:
- 25g (Approx 4 Heaped Teaspoons) Hot Chocolate Powder
- 200ml Hot Water
Toppings / Decoration:
- DF Whipped Cream (I used ‘Heavenly Vegan Whipped Cream Spray’ by Food Heaven)
- DF Chocolate
- Marshmallows
- Chocolate Sauce (I used ‘Choc Shot’ by Sweet Freedom)
Please note that this chocolate contains Hazelnuts.
Instructions
Choose your favourite mug.
Place the hot chocolate powder into your mug and pour the hot water over the powder.
Using a teaspoon, stir until all the powder has dissolved into the hot water. The mixture should appear smooth and silky.
To decorate, squirt on your whipped cream and drizzle on your chocolate sauce. Complete your hot chocolate by adding mini marshmallows and chocolate chunks!
