Vegan Hot Chocolate by Galaxy.
Galaxy recently introduced their first Vegan Hot Chocolate drink after launching their Vegan Chocolate range in late November 2019. As soon as I saw this product’s launch, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it and give it a whirl!
To me, the perfect cup of cocoa consists of a silky and creamy texture that warms me right through.
I found this hot chocolate in Waitrose (just in case you were wondering), but it is also available to buy in Sainsbury’s too.
Rating
Although this hot chocolate doesn’t state that it contains nuts in the ingredients list, I found the flavour to have a slightly nutty taste, which I didn’t mind. I also found the chocolate flavour to be relatively mild – but again, I quite liked this.
To make the hot chocolate, all you need to do is add hot water. Therefore, the drink’s consistency is well watery – but that’s perfect for me as I’m not too fond of milky drinks. However, if you prefer a milky drink, I don’t see why you couldn’t add hot milk to the powder to give it a thicker texture.
In my opinion, I would rate this hot chocolate an 8/10 for its taste but a 10/10 for the silky smooth texture.
